1. Who we are
Ashewa Technology Solutions S.C. ("Ashewa") operates the SmartERP website and the SmartERP Cloud service. This policy explains what personal data we process, why, and your choices.
2. Data we collect on the website
When you use the website, request a demo or create a workspace we collect what you enter: name, company, email address, phone number, tax identification number, chosen web address, and the answers you give about your business. We verify your email address with a one-time code. We keep the version and date of the terms you accept.
3. Data in your workspace
The business data you and your users enter in your SmartERP workspace belongs to your organisation. Ashewa processes it only to host, operate, monitor, back up and support the Service, or on your instruction. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except sub-processors needed to operate the Service.
4. Hosting and sub-processors
Your workspace is hosted where your order specifies: on Ashewa Cloud in Ethiopia, on your own infrastructure, or in an international cloud region you select. Infrastructure and backup providers act under Ashewa's instructions. Legal review: sub-processor list and cross-border transfer wording.
5. Retention
Account and order records are kept for the duration of the relationship and as required by tax and commercial law. Workspace data is retained for 30 days after termination for export, then deleted from production and, on the normal cycle, from backups. Demo requests that do not become customers are deleted after 12 months.
6. Security
Each workspace has its own database and encrypted connections; you control your users and their rights; we keep daily backups and monitor the platform. Please choose strong passwords and remove users who leave.
7. Your rights
You can access, correct or export your data in the workspace at any time, and ask us to delete your account data when the relationship ends. Write to info@ashewa.com. Legal review: rights and supervisory authority under applicable Ethiopian personal data protection legislation.
8. Cookies
The website uses the session cookie needed to sign in and remember your progress in the sign-up journey. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
9. Changes
We will post changes to this policy here with a new version and date and notify workspace administrators of material changes.
